XING HOTPOT & BBQ @ C180 [Unlimited supply of seafood with LIVE tiger prawns seafood steamboat & BBQ buffet at only RM45/pax]

XING Hotpot & BBQ Restaurant which was just opened in Feb 2016 recently is the latest addition to C180 (a street of food paradise). The unique selling point of this restaurant is “leaping live tiger prawns” in the aquarium. 

The highlight of this restaurant - unlimited supply of seafood with live giant tiger prawns. Many eaters come for this.

*Whispered: Fresh tiger prawn is selling at about RM50-60/kg currently where there is only about 15-25 prawns per kg!*

The seafood dinner buffet priced at RM45/pax here is undeniably a super great deal! Let us tell you why it is a better choice to spend your hard-earned money here instead of others down the road.

1. They offer the most number of seafood choices in the town. Most of them are very fresh; some are even alive and leaping in the tanks. We could even grill and cook the seafood without loading any of those seasonings, and still finger licking good!

Aplenty of choices!!! There are more than 10 fresh seafood choices (see the above pictures) for the seafood lovers to choose.

As usual, multiple choices of fresh fish balls are displayed as well.

Different types of vegetables are served in unlimited amount.

3 types of meat choices are available upon requested with the waitress.

The fridge is divided into 2 sections. 1st part (another exciting part!) - The satay corners. They serve 4 types of satay. Moderately marinated with fresh ingredients. This is another must-eat in the list if one comes to this restaurant.

2nd part of the fridge - a tempting array of meat balls are offered as well. Not much to say as this is the common items can be found in any hotpot restaurants.

The seasoning and condiments counter, where there is unlimited supply of sauces to enhance the flavors of the BBQ and steamboat.

If you are daring enough, the snails are another great choice.
Different types of snails (left) tasted differently. We grilled them originally without splashing any of those seasonings and they tasted absolutely great. The fresh tiger prawns (middle) still tasted the best with its succulent flesh and juicy content. The lobsters (right) tasted good as well, but still losing to its counterpart - tiger prawns.

BBQ scallops. This was one of my favorites especially the one with golden eggs. The contents of the scallops actually melted in our tongue and tasted so so delicious!! *Hint: another expensive stuff that one shouldn't miss- scallops - selling at about RM50/kg in the market currently*

2. There are 3 types of soup i.e. Tom-yam, chicken soup [清汤] and their signature “milky broth” [三鲜].  Since the hotpot only split into 2, you may choose any 2 types.

3. Their satays [烤肉串] are yummylicious as well and they have 4 types (as mentioned earlier in the pic above). We love the pork satay the most. Juicy inside with succulent content, awesome!

4. Many other food was served as well. Cooked seafood prepared by the chefs; desserts and ice-creams were readily available throughout the buffet.

Desserts are also available but we couldn't take much. Seriously, our stomach gonna explode. And, yes, they served 4 types of beverages i.e. Chinese tea, Liang cha [凉茶], Ice-lemon tea and orange juices. We could adjust the temperature of the drinks individually with the ice cubes provided.

There is a DIY ice-cream counter at the corner. We tailored-made our ice-cream. This was one of my boy's favorite.

The restaurant is always crowded with eaters and it is indeed a great place to enjoy good food and gatherings.

The tiger prawns excellent! Food choices excellent! Environment Superb! 

Just the dining table was a bit small. Luckily, the staffs allowed us to use 2 tables ^_^!

In short, we would say that XING hotpot & BBQ restaurant is a paradise for those seafood lovers where one may enjoy unlimited supply of fresh seafood especially tiger prawns at reasonable and affordable price.
