European-Taiwan fusion Cake House : Butter Olive Pastry Cake House @ Mahkota Cheras

It is quite difficult to find a good bakery which bakes fine and quality cakes and pastries with reasonable price in Kajang. It was a coincidence, after we had the famous fish head bihun soup in Mahkota Cheras, we discovered a newly opened European-Taiwan style cake house located just a stone away from the restaurant.

Yummylicious and attractive-looking strawberry crepe cakes...my favorite !!!

Generous amount of juicy fruits can be seem on top of the fruit tarts here.

A wide range of finely and creatively-designed cakes are available for selection. Price starting from RM38 per 1/2 kg. The Swiss rolls beneath are selling from RM8.90 to RM10.90 each.

We love the green color cake. This Green Tea-Red Bean cake is selling at RM38 for 1/2kg. We love the texture of this cake, it is sooooo fine and smooth, and best of all it is not over-sweetened and not greasy at all. We can easily finish the whole cake without feeling nausea.

For those with sweet-tooth, cake in slices are also sold here. Look at the price, fine cheese cake are available at RM7.80 per slice ^_^. Sometimes, they have offers like Buy 2 free 1. It is really a good deal!

Wide spread of delicious, fluffy and nice-looking buns are available as well. All the buns are wrapped individually. Everything looks so hygienic and tidy.

More choices are available at the other side of the cake house, the prices start from RM2 and above.

It is great to know they are offering better quality cakes and buns by using natural yeast instead of commercial yeast. Hooray!! I can enjoy these delights to the max without suffering from flatulence and gastric ^_^.

Seafood Restaurant with good food at reasonable price - Restoran Yip Sheng 日晟海鲜饭店 [NON-HALAL]

It has been quite a while we didn’t visit a Chinese seafood restaurant. So, we decided to drop by this restaurant which is famous for its delicious food and affordable price.

We reached the restaurant at about 6pm, many tables were being occupied. There was no menu, so, we ordered the food by mouth. This is really a traditional type of family F&B business. Since there were only 1 elderly + 2 adults + 1 kid + 1 toddler, we decided to order a fish, a soup, a vegetable and an egg dish which were enough to satisfy the tastebuds of everybody.

This seafood restaurant is quite big with 4 blocks of shop-lots.

Before entering the restaurant, there is a big aquarium outside the restaurant with many big fresh tilapia fish (in white) 非洲鱼 and grouper fish (with black strips) 石班鱼.

The inside of the restaurant looked clean and tidy. The environment was really conducive with very cooling air-con.

Chef recommended Teo Chew style steamed Tilapia fish 招牌潮州蒸非洲鱼 with light soy sauce and lots of minced ginger, chilies and sprinkled with fresh spring onion. This was really delicious; my dad loves it so much until he finished all the ginger paste. [RM35]

Special steamed eggs. 三王清蒸蛋. This dish was the combination of 3 types of eggs i.e. chicken eggs, century egg and salted duck egg. Simple and healthy dish which is suitable for kid and toddler. [RM8]

Salted vegetable tofu soup. 咸菜豆腐汤. We didn’t like this soup. It was seriously over-dosing of salt. [RM6]

Yam basket with mixed vegetable. 杂菜芋头篮。  This was really really delicious. Finger licking good! The chef was generous with the fillings where lots of sotong, fresh prawns, cauliflower, baby corns, sliced carrots and Choy San were given. [RM20]

On top of that, we ordered 4 bowls of rice which cost us RM6 in total. The total damage for this dinner was RM79.50 nett after GST.  Overall, we felt good about this restaurant. The dishes were delicious and the price was reasonable. Heard that they used to be famous for their chili crabs. Might come back again for its crabs ^_^.
